Joe Goldman is a seasoned advocate and strategist who has spent his career at the intersection of the American Jewish community and social justice. For nearly six years, he served as the Western Regional Community Engagement Director at HIAS, the world’s oldest, and only Jewish, international humanitarian agency supporting refugees and asylum seekers of all backgrounds.
Prior to HIAS, Joe held roles at MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger, the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) Bay Area, and worked on numerous political campaigns and progressive advocacy initiatives. He earned both his B.A. in Political Communication and Master’s in Political Management from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Joe lives in his native Los Angeles with his husband, Adam, and their rescue maltipoo, Nicky.
