Photo Essay: Protesting Against Starvation in Gaza

Nearly a thousand people gathered this week outside of Trump International Hotel in New York City to call for an end to the terrible war in Gaza, to mass starvation, to Israelis in captivity, to overwhelming destruction. The speakers at the rally included Rabbi Jill Jacobs of T’ruah, NYC Comptroller Brad Lander, and author Peter Beinart. One after another, they spoke movingly about the collective responsibility of Jews to demand that this nightmare end, that the hostages be allowed to come home to their families, and that all people be allowed to live in peace and freedom.
