Joshua Leifer is a contributing editor at Jewish Currents and a member of Dissent’s editorial board. His work has appeared in The Guardian, The Nation, n+1, and elsewhere. He is currently working on a book about American Jewish politics and identity. He lives in New Haven, where he is pursing a PhD in history at Yale.

In My Own Words: The SJF was an invaluable opportunity to pursue the kind of work I'd dreamed of doing. Working at +972 was the most important kind of education I've received. It jump-started my writing career in ways I never could've imagined.
