Israelis Opposing the War: How Israelis are Stepping Up to End the War

On Thursday August 21, 2025, NIF hosted a webinar to dive deeper into the growing movement against the war in Gaza currently unfolding in Israeli society. We heard from journalist Emmanuelle Elbaz Phelps, Standing Together co-director Alon-Lee Green, and Citizens HQ deupty CEO Lior Milo about their experience speaking out. They are each working with determination and courage to highlight the costs of the ongoing war and bring the reality of Gaza to Israelis, all in order to end this terrible war and start to build a more equal and just future. NIF’s Senior Director of Media and Policy, Elisheva Goldberg, moderated the discussion.
